Calhoun Falls to Juggernaut Buford

45-21 sounds like a drumming and it was later on in the AA title game. But Calhoun kept it close as long as they could. The Yellow Jackets just could not stop Buford’s attack and finally could not match them on offense. Since 2002 the only AA Champs have been Buford & Charlton County, with Dublin getting a tie in 2006 with Charlton Co. If I were in AA and could not move down in classification, I would go find enough kids to move up to AAA. It has to be easier to win it all even in an upper class

Hal Lamb Leads Team to Title Game

Former Tiger great Hal Lamb leads Calhoun to the AA title game against powerhouse Buford. Lamb played on the 1981 Championship team for Commerce and is the son of Ray Lamb. Calhoun has been a great team the past few seasons with this being the second time since 2005 that they have been in the Title game. Good luck to the Yellow jackets.
